Mirror, mirror
You don't see me for months then two posts in two days. Today I have a mirror that matches my clock from yesterday. I didn't mention the paint I used is from indigoblu, the base colour is called farmhouse teal the spots were using park lane. The doily stamp is called hello, doily from stampin up, the detail on this stamp is amazing, because I love it you will see lots more using coming in the future. Again I have heat embossed onto the wood with white embossing powder, simple and effective. What do you think? Leave a comment, let me know. All for now Dawn

MDF clock
I've been away from my blog for so long but I have been crafting and I finally decided to pop back and show you what I've been up to. I've had this clock kit for a long time, with lots of ideas, too many, I needed to wait until I could decide which to choose. Well, I love this doily stamp by stampin up called hello, doily it's so detailed even when heat embossed. Let me know what you think.

FF samples 3
Is clean and simple your style?
I think this card fits that style.
I started with an A5 crumb cake card blank.
Using my circle circus stamp set I stamped various designs from the set with versamark ink around the bottom and middle of the card and then embossed with white embossing powder.
I die cut the tag from my two tags die, in whisper white card. I inked the smallest of the three stamps from my Flowering Flourishes stamp set in lucky limeade, wiped of the flower head with a baby wipe and using my real red marker I coloured the flower head, I then stamped onto the tag. I added a small piece of real red card, trimmed the edge with my scallop border punch, a button from the neutral selection, white twine through the button and then drew two lines all to add details. I opted to fix my tag horizontally but you can put it whichever way you like.
A close up of the tag.
This shows the embossing effect rather well too.
What do you think? Is this your kind of card?
Leave me a comment below.
Until next time, Thank you for visiting and Happy Crafting, Dawn x

More Artful Ladies
As I said before I have really enjoyed playing with these stamps, I have made several cards, I just need to find time to post them all.
This is my favourite of the artful ladies so you will see lots of her.
A close up of the artful lady with her vellum wings, and a closer look at the paper piercing.
All for now, until next time, Happy crafting Dawn x

Happy Birthday...
Today is a very special persons birthday, its my Mums birthday!
This is the card I made for her...
I used a 8x8 inch square card blank and layered basic black card, gloss white and then three panels of elegant eggplant spaced equally on top. I cut one large and three smaller butterflies from black card stock and shaped the wings before I secured them across the panels. The greeting was stamped with versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The swirls were added using enamel accents freehand and for my first attempt I was rather pleased with how they look. I finished with gems on the bodies of each of the butterflies.
Happy birthday Mum, I hope your day is truly as special as you are! With lots of love and hugs x
I must admit to casing this card design from the incredibly talented Sue Wilson, thank you Sue I love the clean simple lines, I changed the colour to suit my recipient and didn't have any of the swirlies you use, but I love it.
What do you think...? Please leave a comment so I know you have visited.
Until next time Happy crafting Dawn x
