How naughty am I? It has been a little while since I was on here last but, I have been busy.
Firstly I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and if you don't celebrate it, I hope you had some time with your family doing something you all enjoy. I feel Christmas is a time for family and close friends, people who you want to be surrounded by. I had a lovely time, I was lucky enough to share the day with my husband, two children, my parents and my mother in law (who is wonderful, I'm really lucky) and I also had a visit from my brother...perfect! After the initial shock of being woken up early and shouts of can we go and see what Father Christmas has brought? (luckily he always leaves his gifts downstairs) things settled into the usual hyper day, with unwrapping gifts, cooking lunch, eating too much, assembling toys etc. and I loved every second and wouldn't want it any other way! I am truly blessed!
We were lucky not to of been effected to badly by the snow, school had shut for the holidays before it arrived and we had a week off before Christmas to play in it, so naturally we had to go sledging and well, that's so much fun with two husky type dogs (although a little scary at full speed and I had to do a safety check, I couldn't let my son have a go if I wasn't sure it was safe!!) Yes the holidays this year, or should I say last year were really fun!
Unfortunately before school finished there were so many children poorly with a variety of bugs that the school production my son was due to be in had to be postponed, there were a lot of sad children and the staff were equally upset, especially after all the effort they had put in. The good news however, is that I had two wonderful evenings out last week to see this amazing production and may I say it was definitely worth the wait, a huge well done to everyone who was involved in anyway. Of course, I was proud to watch my son playing his part as a reindeer and all the children were brilliant, what a talented bunch they are!! Unfortunately I can't post any photos of this as all of my pictures have other children in.
Next, Happy New Year to you all, I hope 2011 is a really good year for you and your families and a great crafting year.
I was so busy at the end of last year that I didn't get to make or send very many cards out, in fact, only a few, and as I felt so bad about this, I have started making my cards for next Christmas, I am very pleased to say I have come up with my design and made approx 50 so far (well it's a start) I hope to have some photos for you soon.
I have also arranged my workshops until about October time so details of those to follow shortly, the only one I will tell you about today is on Friday 4th February 7.30pm and repeated on Saturday 5th February 2pm, we will be making cards with a "love" theme, they can be Valentine/Anniversary/Wedding, everything you need will be provided, please call me on 07779071588 for more details or to book a place, limited places left, this workshop will take place within the Taunton location.
