Ryan loves watching formula one with his Nanny and Grandad so I thought this would be a great card for him, he would like to see Alonso win.

Happy birthday...
Today is my son's 10 birthday and here is the card I made for him. He likes Doctor Who so I thought this might be quite cool, I must say I really don't like Daleks so it was quite a trauma for me to cut this one out, I think I was scared to death by them as a small child and I have never liked them since but, hey ho the things we do for love!

Happy Father's Day, Dad
Happy Father's day, Dad..
Happy Father's Day
I bought this stamp at the craft show last Saturday, as soon as I saw it I knew I had to buy it, we have two Alaskan Malamute dogs and they both look a lot like this picture.
I made this card for my husband for Father's day from the children.

3D flowers
These flowers were made with the owl punch, the top one has more petals for a fuller look.
I punched an "owl" for each petal and cut off the feet, I cut a small slit between the ears going towards the body, overlapped the slit part and glued, a little shaping to the body and that was it. I cut a circle to assemble the petals in odd numbers on to, the bottom photo show this quite well, there are 5 outside petals and 3 inside petals. The centre was made with a scallop circle cut into a spiral and rolled. I added a punched shape for the leaves. Doesn't look like an owl punch now, does it?
Thank you for visiting, Happy crafting Dawn x

Owl Saturday
Hi everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend, I had a very busy one. Saturday was the last part of my owl workshop, here are a couple photo's of us crafting!
This time we were in our local school hall, so we could spread our wings and craft to our hearts content... basically we have a lot more space. We each had our own crafting area and then we moved around the room to stations, to assemble or do particular things. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, I heard my ladies say they did too. I will start to put more samples from the day on here soon.
Well Sunday was another busy day, myself and a couple of friends went to the craft show at Castle school, Taunton where we met up with more friends and spent too much money! Even the awful weather didn't put us off, until we had to go home and got wet struggling to the car with our bags of crafting essentials!
Thank you for visiting, Happy crafting Dawn x

"Rudolf" owl punch
Oh no I'm going to mention the "C" word and its only June
Here is a mini Christmas card using Rudolf....
(sorry the photo is not very good)
...and if you prefer a larger Christmas card, then here is Rudolf amongst friends
I hope you like them, I will try and post more samples from my owl punch workshop soon.
I'm going to the craft show at Castle school tomorrow (that's in Taunton) I hope to see some familiar faces. I'm not demonstrating this time but if you see me please say hi.
Until next time Happy crafting, Dawn x
Mr and Mrs Reindeer
Here I would like to introduce you to Mr and Mrs Rudolf Reindeer (yes still using the owl punch)
I will put a couple of cards I made with these on to show you later......
Owl punch art
Here is another card we made at our owl workshop, this idea is taken from the Stampin' Up! mini catalogue on page 14, I changed the background as I didn't have the stamp set they used. I think it would make a fab Father's Day card if you mounted it onto a larger card blank with a couple of extra layers.
Penguin "owls"
Here is one of the cards we made at our owl punch workshop, I stole this idea from the lovely Hayley (I hope she doesn't mind, I changed it a little to suit me)
That's all for now, lots more to come. Dawn x

Owl workshop Tuesday
Well last night was fun, we had an owl workshop and saw how the owl punch can be so much more than an owl, more details to follow after Saturday, as I have another workshop the same and I don't want to spoil the surprise for them!
Here we are crafting away, happily (not realising I was lurking with my camera, well not until the flash and then its to late)
There is sooo much stuff on the table its a surprise we could make anything!
I would like to take this chance to welcome our newest member of my craft group Shirley, I hope you enjoyed yourself and that we will see you again soon.
That's all for now, I will post photo's after Saturday of some of my samples. Take care. Happy crafting Dawn x

Cute spider...
I have been playing around with my punches recently, getting ready for my owl punch workshop, on Tuesday and Saturday, when I felt a little "owl-ed" out and fancied a change.
Anyone who knows me will know about my love of spiders...
and this is what I came up with. I think it could be for Halloween or it would make a fun card for children! You can change the colour to suit.
Here is a close up of the spider, I used scallop circle, photo corners and owl punches. The photo corner punch has two sizes so it was easy to layer the legs. The owl punch was used for the nose and eyes.
I think this made a simple but effective card and cute too! Who said spiders were not cute?
I have two places left on the owl workshop, contact me for details on 07779071588 I am in the Taunton area.
Thank you for visiting, until next time, Happy crafting Dawn x
Little claire's owls

Happy birthday...
I have had a busy week, lots of tidying and sorting and the usual boring cleaning and I'm still not finished, but I thought I deserved a break so here is a quick card, I have to share with you.
I made this for the lovely Katie, it was her birthday last week.
