Punch bunch samples..

As promised a couple more cards made using the punch bunch stamp set available free, for a few more hours only!!!!
"Real Red"
This card is the same design as the melon mamba one earlier, but  in bright red, this is my favourite of the two, I think the flowers look more poppy like in this one.

Old olive
This is a simple patchwork design card...

and in tempting turquoise.

This time with ruffled ribbon and designer series paper.

Last day...

Today is the last day to get your free stamp set, as many of you know Stampin' Up! have a fantastic offer during January and February called saleabration, where if you spend £45 from the catalogue you can choose a free stamp set, there is a choice of four different sets.

Some of my crafting ladies, when choosing their free saleabration set said they loved the owl (punch bunch) but what would they do with the other stamps in the set, well, here are some samples as promised.....
Baby Girl
This card was made using pink pirouette, a very soft shade of pink, I'm not usually a pink person but this colour is gorgeous!

...a bright female card, melon mamba card, papers, ribbon and ink

Baby Boy
...and a bashful blue, patchwork card. I'm loving this technique at the moment, and its very easy to do with the 1 1/4" square punch from Stampin' Up! I will post a couple more designs later, also using this technique.
Bye for now Dawn x

Happy birthday...

Today is Rachel's birthday, and this is the card I made for her. I made this card using my "farm animals" stamp set. Rachel loves animals so I thought this set was perfect for her, I hope she is having a lovely day.
I stamped all the animals in black ink and heat embossed with clear powder, coloured with promarkers and cut out. The wood effect was made by inking an embossing folder and then running it through my machine. The greeting was stamped embossed and coloured the same way and then cut out and fixed on with brads and twine to look like a sign hanging. I doodled the top background with a marker pen.

Happy birthday...

It was the lovely Sandra's birthday on Thursday, this was the card I made for her.
I used marina mist for the square base card and stamped with a flower from growing green using whisper white craft ink for a subtle effect. I cut a square of whisper white card and stamped with the same flower using marina mist ink around the sides, I stamped one of the little stamps from my tiny tags set also with marina mist ink, in between the flowers. I stamped the greeting onto vellum with matching ink and embossed it with clear powder, I tore the edges and attached using brads to complete the look.

Happy Birthday Sandra

Hey Moo!

This card was influenced by the lovely and very talented Sue Wilson. I really like the cuteness of these stamps, suitable for all ages.
I started with a red square card blank and layered a white panel that I had embossed with a lattice folder I recently bought (I think you will be seeing a lot more of this folder as I really like it) I used a border punch for the strip down the right hand side and added a strip of black gingham ribbon on top of it and some rhinestone gems. I cut a white oval for the main focal image and layered it onto a black scallop oval die cut (nesties again) The cow was stamped onto white card, coloured with promarkers and cut out, then stuck onto the large oval so the ear and tail just peep off the edge. The greeting was stamped again onto white and layered on to black, each cut with punches this time, a twist of ribbon behind the greeting and the card is complete. I guess I will have to be careful who I send this card to but I love it!!

Birthday cake

I love house mouse, they are sooo cute, doesn't it just make you smile?
A small square card, with a fleur de lis nestie and a strip of ribbon across the centre. The main image was coloured using promarkers. Simple, yet effective!

Poppy!

Here is a clean and simple card that I think is rather stylish. This stamp set has retired and I for one was sad to see it go. I kept the card very simple with only a single flower, coloured with su watercolour crayons and the gorgeous red satin ribbon and finished with a simple mat and layer.

How ewe doing?

Here is a simple fun card.

And a close up of the sheep.

Card; Bashful blue for the card base, certainly celery for the grass, whisper white for the sheep and flowers, basic black for the sheep, Marina mist
Punches; Scallop circle, large word window, 1" circle, Boho blossoms, Scallop oval and large oval

I made a square card base and added a strip of green cut into a grass like pattern by hand. I cut all the parts of my sheep using punches, I drew on the tiny swirls and assembled with tiny googly eyes.
I cut the flowers from white card, I gently inked the edges and then spritzed them with a fine mist of platinum shimmer paint and alcohol, using an embossing tool I cupped them in my hand to get the shape and left them to dry, they dry hard and hold the shape. I added my sentiment and flowers, quick and easy.

Baroque Motifs

Here is a simple card I made recently. I stamped the swirl in white craft ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder to make it more "white" Then I stamped the little flowers and cut them out by hand, I added a small rhinestone in the centre of each flower.
I stamped an icon from my Tiny tags stamp set, (I love this set its so versatile) on to whisper white card, I cut out the wing using the two step bird punch upside down to line up my design, I also cut a white body and pear pizzazz leaf, finally I added a sheer ribbon down the side and added an insert.

Stamp sets used; Tiny Tags, Baroque Motifs
Ink; Whisper white craft ink, Pink pirouette
Punch; Two step bird
Card; Marina mist, whisper white and pear pizzazz

I hope you like it, until next time Happy crafting Dawn x

Punch bunch

Here is a card I cased from the very talented Monica, I follow her blog avidly, I made a couple of small changes and showed it to my crafty ladies, here are their cards...
 And some more....
And the one that got away...
We used an embossing folder to get the wood grain effect at the bottom of the card. The owl stamp is from the Punch bunch stamp set that is free with an order of £45, this offer only runs until 28th February. We used the bird punch to cut out our branches, and the boho punch for the flowers, a choice of sentiment and ribbon and our cards were finished. I hope you like them, I'm loving the owl, I think they would look great with googly eyes!!
Until next time, Happy crafting, Dawn x

Gorjuss...

Here is a card I made a little while ago and found when browsing my photos. It uses the gorgeous little felt flowers from Stampin' Up! and a stamp that I love from Gorjuss girls. Pretty, I think. I hope you like it too.

Growing Green

I would like to wish one of my lovely crafting ladies Ali, a very Happy birthday, I hope you had a special day. It was her birthday yesterday and this is the card I sent her. A classic square card made with pink pirouette as the base, which I stamped with craft white ink using my Growing green stamp set, I also stamped with the matching pink pirouette ink for a very subtle effect that really doesn't show in the photo. I cut a simple square of whisper white and stamped this with two soft shades of pink using a flower head from Growing green and a stamp from my tiny tag set. The greeting, from my sincere salutations stamp set, was stamped in pink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder on to vellum and then torn top and bottom, I fixed this with pastel pink brads at each side and added a rhinestone to the dot of the "i" as Ali loves her "bling" I don't think this picture does the card justice as it looked much better in the hand than here, possibly due to the pale colour and my not so good photography skills, (I'll blame the poor light) I have now learnt how to add more than one photo at a time, I'm getting there very slowly.
Thank you for looking, until next time Happy crafting Dawn x

Happy birthday...

Today is my husbands birthday and here is the card I made for him. He loves wild animals so this stamp set is perfect. I stamped the base card with a leaf stamp from my lovely as a tree set and added mica powders in tonal colours, I also stamped a leaf from autumn splendor on to acetate and then inked the back and added mica powders again. A simple knot with the gorgeous early espresso wide grosgrain ribbon and a little mat and layer and the card is complete.
I hope you like my card, Happy crafting Dawn x

Love theme

Thank you to all my lovely ladies who joined me today for a workshop with a love theme. Here is one of my cards, the idea came from the Stampin' Up! idea book and catalogue on page 2, as you can see I changed the colour combination and added one of the gorgeous buttons tied with twine as one of my embellishments.

Here are some of the cards we made today.....
And here are the rest of them, sorry I didn't write down who made which one. I love how using the same items the cards are all different.
Thank you for visiting, I hope you like our cards. Until next time Happy Crafting Dawn x
